This blog is intended to be a chronicle of my ongoing research into the geneaology and history of the Hewitt–Burdon (Cornwall) and Jensen–Russell (Denmark and Kent) branches of my family tree —together with any related or unrelated musings I might feel compelled to share.

And for those wondering, Wynmelvin comes from the name my great-grandfather gave to his residence in Whiterock Road in Wadebridge, Cornwall.  It was derived from the names of his three surviving children: Winifred, Melville and Vincent.
