The marriage was witnessed by John Clark and Jane Witt (1).

This was a previously unknown marriage by Sarah Emma Coles, my 3 × great grandmother. Though claiming she was of full age, Sarah would have been about 19 years of age at the time of her marriage to Henry. It is interesting to note that at her subsequent marriage to Thomas Sanders (1848), Sarah married under her maiden name.

The marriage was witnessed by George William Hancock, engineer, and Elizabeth Hancock, both of Wellington (1).
