The above information was provided to the registrar, Thomas Daniels, on November 28, 1843, by Sarah Emma Barraclough, mother, of 13 Upper Ogle Street (<a href="#fn-1">1</a>).</p>
<p>Adolphus Barraclough, son of a farrier, found dead at 13 Upper Ogle Street on January 3, 1844, aged 11 weeks. The cause of death was recorded as natural congestion of the brain.  The above information was provided to the registrar, Thomas Daniels, on April 16, 1844, by T. Wakley, coroner, 35 Bedford Square (<a href="#fn-2">2</a>).</p>

<p>Jane Draper (née Catling) was my 5 × great grandmother.  Charlotte Harnett can be found in the 1851 census living with her sister Hannah Hartley in Enfield Town.  She is recorded as a widow, formerly a shoemaker&#8217;s wife.</p>

Eliza Darby married George Hancock in Wellington when she was aged 25 years.  She left no living children.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>George Hancock, grocer, died at the hospital, from Holloway Road, Mitchelltown, Wellington, on April 19, 1915, aged 68 years. The cause of death was certified as malignant papilloma of the bladder by Dr D. F. Meyers on April 19, 1915.<br />

He was buried in Karori Cemetery on April 21, 1915.  George Hancock was born in Lambeth, London to George Hancock, labourer, and Elizabeth Hancock (née Sturmer), and had resided in New Zealand for about 41 years.  He left a widow, Eliza Darby, aged 67 years, whom he married in Wellington when he was aged 26 years.  He left no living children.</p>
<p>The above information was provided to the registrar, J. L. Palethorpe, on April 22, 1915, by the undertaker, J. Flyger, of Wellington (<a href="#fn-1">1</a>).</p>
<p>George Hancock&#8217;s death notice was published in the <em>Evening Post</em> on 20 April 1915 (<a href="#fn-2">2</a>).</p>
