GRAFTY GREEN — Cooked breakfast is served from 9:30 a.m. so it was a bit of a slow start to the day. This morning I revisited (from my last trip) the parish churches of Egerton and Pluckley. I think I might have found some additional headstones for family I may have missed last time—the inscriptions are not very legible.

Afterwards I drove down to Ashford to find a Post Office so I could send home a small parcel of souvenir guides. It will lighten my luggage by a couple of kilograms. I also had to buy a new sun hat as I seem to have misplaced (read lost) my old one. I have no idea when and where I last saw it.
