Frances Hancock, d.1847

Frances Hancock, daughter of George Hancock, broom maker, died at 56 Paradise Street, Lambeth Walk on September 17, 1847, aged 3 years. The cause of death was certified as variola (5 weeks) after being twice vaccinated without effect.

The above information was provided to the registrar, J. Harwood, on October 18, 1847, by her father, resident at 56 Paradise Street, Lambeth Walk, Lambeth, who was present at the death (1).
